Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
It came from my father-in-laws back yard as a 250 three on the tree. (sorry no pics)
To this in my front yard after 2 years in a buddy's shop and me working really slow. 350 TBI and 350 trans out of a 92' chevy pickup. Long headman headers and cutouts from summit (saving for electronic cutouts) Wheels of all places Costco. All other small parts (lights carpet seat belts and a whole lot more came from Fat Fenders in Fresno Ca. Thanks Gilbert) |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I can answer that! It is a vacuum reservoir that goes into the cab and sucks on something related to heat/ac. Mine came with a broken bracket but I found a plastic globe shaped replacement and then broke that one. I'm going back to the original with a couple of tacky hose clamps or something until I find a better looking one.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
A total jaw-dropper! Question: What is that color and is it authentic? That's the exact color mine was originally.
Just got my '72 Cheyenne last Thursday from it's previous owner in Marina del Rey, California. I love all classic American trucks but the 67-72 GM trucks are the pinacle in my opinion. |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
here is some work that ive already done. not even close to finished under the hood yet though. first picture is where is started when i bought it (minus breather), second pic is where i got to all in one day. new water pump, fuel pump, valve covers, VC studs, and carburetor. its a 600 edelbrock on there, not put on, just there for mock up so i could get the correct length for the fuel line and vacuum hoses. got an edelbrock team1 intake manifold and hooker headers ready to go on as soon as i get my mallory HEI distrubutor paid for.
