Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Yesterday I pulled the hood and front fenders off. Man those back bottom bolts are a pain! I dont know how I will ever get them back in, there must be some trick. Anyone know how to make that easy?

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Did a little cleaning and painting on the frame today.. TSC Implement Low Gloss Black with hardener and Mineral Spirits through the HF: HVLP.
Funny side note on that HF gun... I was talking with DWT earlier how good it has been, and not even 20 minutes later the stud flies out of the trigger... lol. *Go figure* Before: After: You can barely see him, but that's Dadsworktruck under there sprayin' the underside of the Frame |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Coupla days ago Christmas to be exact I took the dog on an impromptu drive to the inlaws. On the drive home I smelled what I thoght to be canine flatulence. Turns out I was wrong. It was canine (St. Bernard) excrement. After realizing my predicament I pulled over and removed said feces and had a heart to heart with Fido. Unfortunately said dog had proceeded to walk around in her "little" Christmas present to me before I understood the situation. After returning home I got to spend the next hour shampooing the back of the burb. Theres an arguement for vinyle over carpet anyday.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Relocated the Holley fuel pump to the back of the truck... Also fixed the broken linkage on my transmission... Also installed a Bluetooth receiver so I can run my stereo system off my phone and no head unit needed... If someone looks in my truck all they see is the factory radio delete panel and they move on to the next vehicle

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Finally got to see it almost completely blown apart at the bodyshop today. Now the fun begins ,watching them replace the rusty panels and make it new in my design. I never dreamed I would be doing a frame off on my daily driver and as you can probably tell Im very excited.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Fixed the door jam switch, dome light works. Took it to about 5 inspection places to get the sticker. Finally got it done for the right price 14.50. Most places would not let it pass because its to loud.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
I bought some real nice back up light lenses from VA72C10 and went to put them on only to find the PO had put it back together without bulbs or wiring for back up lights. ordered a rear harness and housing cups and bulbs from Ecklers to put it together with. When I started diagnosing it I saw the rear harness had beed buggerred up pretty good.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Worked on getting the wiring fixed. Got the head lights to work, but I will have to order a new light switch to get it all working right.
