Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

price is now firm. i wont take a dollar less than 17500

Original stepside short bed truck out of Wyoming Supercharged c10 t56 manual

No trades. I don’t need anything else

Build has about 4500 miles on it. 1500 of those with supercharger. Understand this isn’t a junk yard tossed together truck. There are hundreds of hours into getting this truck to where it is.

This is a great looking truck from 5ft. Understand that it needs a little body work and paint. Cab corners and rockers are the two big things. The rest is very minor stuff. Needs less than half of anything else you will find. I’m not a body guy and I don’t pretend to be. It had a decent resto in the 90s(found paperwork in the glovebox from it being on the road) but it needs some love to be perfect again.

There is a pile of info on stuff done to this truck. It’s a perfect daily/weekend driver. Needs nothing to be driven anywhere. If it had body work and paint it’s worth triple what I’m asking. I own an HVAC business and it takes all my time now. This was my forever project that I can’t justify keeping after another kid.

I’m going to start at the front and try to get it all down. If you got any questions just ask. You won’t find a better running and riding truck anywhere.

84 c10 crossmember was completely torn down and reassembled with new parts.

New
Ball joints
All the rubber bushings(the new crossmember replaces the steel bushings in the 68 crossmember. Completely changes the ride in these trucks)
Steering linkage
Power steering gear box
2 Inch Drop spindles
everything else that goes with the front suspension is new
Front and back are on air bags. They are just hooked up to valves and can be aired up when you want to change ride height.

The entire brake system is new
Hydro boost
Proportioning valve
All brake lines-from master to rear end are all new
New 6x5.5 rotors and HD calipers
Everything in the rear end was replace within the brake system. Drums pads wheel cylinders and everything else.

The drivetrain-
It’s a 6.0 lq4 out of a 06 Silverado with 80k miles.
ls6 cam with new springs and pushrods
Edelbrock e force supercharger

The harness is a brand new harness made by a professional.

The trans is a t56 out of a 02 Camaro that had 70k on it when I bought it
It was torn down to a bucket of parts and rebuilt with all the good stuff
All new synchros
Steel shift fork
Bronze shift fork pads
It got every single updated you can do to a t56 besides the viper input shaft

New within the drivetrain
Master cylinder
Monster clutch
S(Craigslist and Facebook don’t like this word....) cylinder
Custom 3inch steel driveshaft
Aluminum radiator
Completely new fuel system with a fuel cell in the bed(blazer tank didn’t fit very well behind the axle with it being a stepside short bed)
The fuel system is run through a prefilter and the corvette filter/regulator. It’s done right with nylon fuel lines
Aem fuel pump that will support 800hp

The list goes on and on.

The only random issues it has is the rear end. I put a lunchbox locker in it. It’s only got about 2k miles on it. It still makes some noise when fluid is hot but nothing crazy. needs more drive time to make less noise.

It’s running a galaxy tablet in the dash for the gauges. It works really well and is something different. It is set up to run just like a set of gauges. Only hassle out of it is if the tablet battery dies after a few days of not driving it. If can be programmed to turn back on when power is applied I’m just not that techy. It works great as long as the battery doesn’t die(it charges while the key is on).

The truck was street tuned by the guy that worked at “trans am” in Tallahassee for 10+ years. I told him to make it as streetable as possible before we worried about power. It rolls like a stock truck until you get into it. It was never put on the dyno because I really didn’t care. If I had to guess it’s probably around 550hp

The paint job is just a single stage epoxy paint job. It was more to protect it from the elements in north Florida than to look good. Looks great from 5ft but isnt close to perfect.

Clean and clear title in my safe. I don’t have to sell this truck. I was never going to sell it but I just had another kid and cant fit all of us in a single cab truck anymore. Cash money at my house will buy this truck. Scammers don’t waste our time

https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/c...577805770.html 1972 Chevy C10 Automatic Fleetside Long Bed - $5,500 (Buford 1972 Chevy C10 Fleetside long bed, AC pickup truck, white over blue paint. 350 V8 engine, automatic transmission, dual exhaust. This is one of the most desirable year and model classic trucks. Runs and drives well. Interior is in good shape. Needs a little work. Has the usual rust for this age truck, slight body damage to front driver side fender and bumper(see pics). But, parts are plentiful and pretty inexpensive for these 67-72 C10’s. Many websites dedicated to these specific years/model. These trucks are worth a lot when they are fixed up. I had planned on doing a restoration, but I have another project vehicle(Jeep Grand Wagoneer) that I need to focus on right now. My loss is your gain. I have a clean GA title ready to be signed over to a buyer. Asking $5,500.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

Thanks for posting this one Wikid61. The type of pickup I was always on the hunt for in the 80's and 90's when they were "used car prices" vs. 2000's+ "collector car prices". Problem back then, from my experiences, they rarely came up for sale locally or found in the "truck trader" publications. Original owners weren't interested in selling them.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2

I know this the wrong year but it's so cool! Not mine.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...custom-camper/

This 1964 Chevrolet C20 Custom has been fitted with a Chinook camper and is powered by a 292ci inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The truck is finished in blue over gray upholstery, and the camper portion features a seating area and table, a double sink, a gas range and oven, a refrigerator, cupboards and other storage space, a toilet, a sleeping area, and a furnace. Recent work is said to have included replacing the brake components and brake lines, tires, mattress, cushions, tile flooring, toilet, gas stove, and blinds in addition to refinishing the wood trim, repainting the cabinets, and resealing the windows. The truck was acquired by the seller’s son in 2022. This C20 camper is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of his son with service records and a Washington title.

https://olympic.craigslist.org/cto/d...578651954.html 1970 Chevy C-10. V-8 350 147k miles - $6,000 (Sequim) 1970 Chevy C-10. V-8 350 147k miles
Good running and driving condition; driven multiple days a week. Two-wheel drive long bed. Clean Title
I have owned this truck for ten years and have spent many, many hours and dollars restoring it to good working order. I love this truck, but I am letting it go so I can focus on a couple of other car projects I have going.
It still is in need of some restoration, but I have replaced many parts over the years, and it runs great. Here’s some of the repairs I’ve made:
new automatic transmission ($1.5k)
new steering box, and pitman arm.
new alternator
new starter
new seat cover, dash, and carpet kit
new master cylinder and brake cylinders

Interior of bed is in good condition and painted with bed liner. Tires are good. Heater, wipers, lights, etc, work fine.
The brakes are ok but not great. The pads are fine, and I put in a new master cylinder and brake cylinders They could use some adjustment. I was planning to upgrade to front disc brakes, but I’ll let the next owner take on that project…
I would like to pass this truck on to a diehard truck enthusiast who is planning to drive it often and restore it to its former glory!

1971 GMC Jimmy 1/2 ton 4x4/stick shift. Hard convertible top, roll bar with CB option and rhino lining throughout entire inside, carpeted over floor board. Needs paint job and rhino lining on convertible top peeling off. Good body frame. 58k miles. I’ve had it since I was 16 with one previous owner who only used it for towing. Been offered multiple times throughout my life for purchase but never wanted to until this point. Hard for me to do, but I have too much stuff and not enough room. Please, only serious buyers- please research online before making an offer. No low-balling please. Will take best offer. 1971 GMC Jimmy (Reno) https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/re...578656228.html
