Pic #1. The core support is all done and in it's final paint, again going with the Satin black.
Pic #2. another view. Pic #3. Set in place with the inner fenders. Just to recap on the Engine bay: Firewall, under hood, inner fenders and core support will All be Satin Black. Trying to give it a little contrast when you open the Hood. Have not nailed down what all will be done with the Engine yet will figure it out as it progresses. Mark...

Re: Blake's 67 GMC stepside build
So now that the core is finished I will turn my attention to the inside of the cab again. This time the inner roof. The customer is a Big guy and can't use the sun visors so the stock holes will be filled per his request.

Yep, nice work Mark. The light shale...was that an original color? It kinda looks like primer and I don't remember seeing it before.

Re: Blake's 67 GMC stepside build
Thank's Doug!
Yes it is a stock GM color and they have a medium and Dark as well. On his interior there will be some dark accent pieces to mix it up a bit. It was an early 2000 model I believe.

Re: Blake's 67 GMC stepside build
I'm going to switch gears a bit here and show the roll pan.
Pic #1. When the pan showed up it wasn't the best looking piece..meaning seams not welded ugly corners etc. So in this shot I welded the seams around the plate box and the ends. Pic #2. I then rounded the corners and will cap them off. (bolt on pan) Pic #3. The mockup piece for the cap. These will add a more finished look to the ends of the pan when mounted. Pic #4. After welding. Pic #5. In Epoxy primer. Mark...
