Re: Let's see some Burbans!
hey salvageit, the rear backspace is 5" front is 4 3/4" but the front also has a 1/4" spacer because wheel wouldn't fit over the hub and the front end is narrowed 1 1/4(ball joints moved in) bagging the burb isn,t that hard all depends on how low you wanna go the lower the more cutting just to bag them and set them on the wheels, no big deal only one recommendation, find a shop that truly knows the stuff lots can do it, but doing it right is what we want, STOCK SUCKS DAVE

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
Thanks 1sik, I will end up doing the work my self, I work in a fab shop we just go the other way with vehicles so I just need a little direction in the lowering game. The wheels I got have 5.72 backspacing so I am a little worried now that you say yours is 5 in the rear

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
most likely not, I was little worried that they would hit the inside of the fender wells. I guess spacers are an option.

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
was there a reason you went with 20's in the front ( for clearence issue) or just the stagggerd look?

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
already had that stagger when i bought it i would like to run 22's around then need new wheels, more money, blah blah blah and the "hotrod" look is cool probably couldn't drive and turn as low with 22's i can make a "u" turn with the body about 1" off the ground (help from the narrowed front end of course) 22's not

Re: Let's see some Burbans!
He is pretty solid, there are a few rusted spots and I found some filler.
But that won't be a problem to fix. The plans are to bag it and channel it, maybe I am going to Z the frame but I don't know if that will be necessary. For the rest it will be pretty standard. Here is a picture of the nice bumper on the back That is why I ordered a new stock one.
