I think I may reserve the custom grill to a later version of the truck, right now I really just want to get em on the road

Re: Killer
Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I have been working on my drag truck Zumo
I have decided to go with a Caddi 500 engine & NV-4500 trans in Killer, so I needed to get a mock up engine & that was the wait I went to my uncles & picked up this freshly rebuilt (20 years ago) 425 Caddi engine that had sat out side with no carb & the tarp long rotted away, so unfortunately the #7 cylinder was busted do to freezing water in the engine ;( But here it is stripped down & starting to get mocked up I will be moving the engine back about 3" from where its at in the pics & moving my firewall back about 4" |

Re: Killer
Not sure on the motor mounts yet, I have to cut out the firewall so I can scoot it back & then I can get closer to figuring out what Ima do for mounts
Yeah I like the Caddi engines pretty well so far, havent run one yet but they sound like they are power houses |

Re: Killer
Matt, i think that you should sell me those brackets and springs off of those calipers there, i can not seem to find any up here for my calipers, i do not think that you are gonna need an e-brake any wya, you are just gonna be smoking the tires anyway.

Re: Killer
Hey guys sorry for the lack of progress, I been busy getting RBT on the road & working out the bugs on it
Im also working on my bug trying to get it ready for summer And when dad is home we been working on the shop & trying to clean up around it Im also at a stand still on deciding what exactly I wanna do to Killer BIG HEAD The bug is painted with Rustoleum satin black (I think that it would be better with hardener in it, cuz its kinda soft & scratches easy Right now Im also gearing up to go to TWS (Tulsa Welding School) in May When I get back & get a job here, Ima start saving up to buy some products from our buddy Porter Built And I will be building a full custom frame & I will most likely donate my current frame to my dads truck RBT So I been kinda busy Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 02-26-2009 at 09:40 PM. |

Re: Killer
Its sitting outside with a tarp over it
I blew up the trans in my daily driver 90, & pushed Killer out so I could fix my 90 But I swapped the engine also, cuz the stock one was getting worn out & I put in a NV-4500 5-speed in too, & Im having a lot of bugs to work out right now... |
