Didnt do anything to the cable so i guess i had it set right to begin with (i hope..)

Well i found a couple ground that were burnt in two so i fixed them with the ground strap you gave me and all i have to do is put the new starter on and the manifold then i can see if its really the computer or if i might have gotten lucky and it was just the grounds, but we'll see..

I guess I better clarify this a little bit for ya.

No, him driving the truck doesn't tell me anything. I already knew he was driving the truck obviously if I was going to follow him to the tranny shop. I was there when he finished putting it in. So, I was wondering what the guy at the tranny shop had to say or whether he made any adjustments to the tv cable.

Since I asked Scott the question not long after he and I had parted ways I must have "over simplified" and thought he'd know what I meant. My apologies spokesman Joe.

Yeah, you can pull yours out. I think the truck will still run ok, you just won't have a speedo. Need to make a trip to the shack to get some parts

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build

Scott, have you had a chance to find the VSSB in the green one?
Do you know what gears the white truck had? I'm curious to see how the white trucks VSSB works in the green one. I called Radio Shack, they only have the 8-position DIP switches, we need 2 of 6-position ones. But I'm guessing we can make 2 8-position ones work. They are only about $2.50 each. You could get 4 and we can modify 2 VSSB's, I'm guessing you will need to calibrate one for the crew also.

No i havent looked yet, im about to hook the scanner up and see what the check engine light is doing but i think its the cool air temp sensor just because of what it does only when its cold.

Heck yeah i hope that it fixes it, at least the speedo isnt showing me going slower than i really am

The white truck had 3.42's in it.

Think i should just plug the one from the white one in the green one and see what happens?

Yeah, you could try it out.
I'll run the numbers and see how close it should be.
