Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
Here's a few pics of the speaker pods installed. I really like the way they turned out.

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
I added the Brother's radiator cover for a little bit of bling. I think it adds a little touch of class.

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
I didn't use the negative battery cable. I just bought a generic one and went straight to the block.

Thanks, it feels like it is never going to end...But then again, I'm not sure I want it to.

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
Very nice work on the speaker pods. I tried my hand at some fiberglass work on a dash one time and didn't turn out too good. Yours looks great! You have a super nice truck. It just keeps getting nicer too.

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
Read through this post last night and today, awesome build! Just got back from out west, you've got some beautiful land out there! Flew into LAX, went down to SD, through Corona to Camarillo, Up To Vegas and back to Barstow, then Castaic back to LAX to fly home. Loved spotting all the classic trucks in the area! Good luck on the rest of your project, it looks amazing!

Sweet build! This would be an amazing daily driver.
![]() AND, thank you for taking the time to post-up parts numbers along the way and how they were to install, if they work well, etc. ![]() |

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
Do those pods have a solid back or are they just using the metal kick panel as their back? How are you fastening them into place? Thanks

Re: '67 5.3L Build Thread
You are too kind. I wish I could open a shop. It would be a dream come true, especially if it could work on C10's all the time.

Anyone want to invest in Bub's C10 ONLY shop? I figure I only need about $100K to get started. Ha Ha.

Nice clean build! What brand of spark plug wires you running and where did you get them?
