Got a email alerting me to updates on this thread. Didnt remember what truck it was, but remembered a dude called Coulter was building something I liked. I have enjoyed this build, and look forward to you finishing it.

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
Go to a junkyard and grab a set of early 90's LeSabre hood hinges. Should save you a little extra fab. Seen one on here a while back and it didn't look too difficult to do, even for the fab challenged like myself.

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
got a lil more done
finally replaced all those ****ty pushlock fittings with these thought i was gonna get to finish my rear sway bar today but i ran out of wire... hopefully finish this tomorrow night i wired up my gauges last week.. still gotta get a 6 pin molex connector so i can just plug them into the main harness got my indicator lights to!!! as soon as i get the plug pinned in then i will be able to bolt in the cluster for the final time i got some new plug wires today so i started routing them so i can figure where to cut them still need a distributor though also made my upper radiator hose but didnt realize i need a bigger size for the bottom hose... so i will have to order another kit =(

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
Looks great. I've enjoyed reading your build over the last couple of weeks. I'm all caught up now. You've done a awesome job. It's great to see the originality of what you've come up with. Hard to keep it this fresh when thousands of others are building the same trucks. Love the photography and the garage as well.
