i wanted to clean my intake without removing it! im not sure if they're hard to install. maybe they smaller wire brush circles for the grinder.

I plan to prime it with the rusty metal primer first to stop any hidden rust in cracks/crevices and then top it with the undercoating. Should make the ride much quieter between this, the new mat, and the fact that all the holes are gone in the floor ![]()

Re: Rebuild on a shoestring.....continued
well the plus side with holes is.. u can accidently drop your trash down it while your driving around. therefore your truck interior stays clean with no effort??

Re: Rebuild on a shoestring.....continued
The rain really stinks...I can't roll the truck outside because the windows are out of the driver's door and there's not any room to work on the truck inside the garage....at least I have a garage though

Re: Rebuild on a shoestring.....continued
Well, went out in the mist/sprinkles and dodged a couple light showers. Got one more coat of undercoating on the floor of the cab...overall it really made a big difference in the sound of the panels and the look of the interior...
Took all the tape off and also disassembled the passenger door panel and took the vent window out so I can clean it up (has some overspray but has good chrome and rubber...) Also took off the rest of the Naugahyde (what it says on the back of the material) off the back of the bench seat and installed the cover for now...decided I was tired of seeing the tan and wanted to see how the flat black interior rustoleum worked on fabric so I sprayed it (had some leftover from another project)...sprayed in the last bit of light so I'm sure it looks hideous ![]()
