Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy

Thanks for the reply. Kind of a subtle change that makes the trucks proportions a lot better.

Great truck, well done. Did you have to remove the inner fender support brackets front and back in order to fit the tires? Did you add some other support?

The front inner fender brackets had to be cut, alot. And then I made new brackets that go from the bottom of the grill to the frame above the bumper.

In the rear I removed them, and didnt replace it with anything. It is stout enough to not fludder in the wind, but you couldnt put your weight on it like stock.

Do you have any pictures of when you were doing the headlight buckets? Dad bought a Hagan kit. I cut the holes out on Sunday but don't really like the way there is a step between the bucket and the fender....did you just roll out the fender to match the bucket or did you fill it with something to match the profile?

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy

Bernie, these are the pics I have. I did mock up lights and check for fitment/alignment.

it took considerable hammer and dolly work as well as some filler wiped with my finger on the bottom side of it so it transitions smoothly.

I really just want to buy one and be done with it. Then it'll match the passenger side.
