That confirms it, no fenders until after motor. That's great! Motor should go in next weekend! More prep this weekend. And more pics coming soon too.

BTW, a BIG thanks to board member RenoKeene (aka Brad) for sending me the bracket I was missing for my A/C install. Sent free of charge including shipping! This board continues to rock.

Some more pics of interior additions:
I was pretty happy about this one! Tested it and it works too!!! Yay! First indication that the wiring job may be successful. Ha!

Does anyone else use their bed for extra parts storage?

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
And our latest little stumbling block:
Accidentally let the little retainer clips for the taillights get away with the old driver's side bedside. Anyone know what will work here as a replacement? Missing clips: Side with clips for comparison:

Yeah, it definitely is. Plenty of scratches and bruises to prove it too

Hahaha. Yeah, plan to measure and order this weekend. Should be hidden for the most part. Going through the fresh air vent on passenger side.

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
ran into a snag with the backup light harnesses purchased from LMC Truck. They are too tall inside the casing and do not allow the bulb to go down in far enough to twist and lock into place. Guess I need to get factory replacements. LMC's are made differently. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. Posted a WTB on the board so hopefully can come up with some good factory ones.

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
if you have a LMC catalog look it up it will show you exactly how they go , i think it is just one spring and 2 screws with the plastic square nuts that pop into the core support

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
Thanks, Mike. That's exactly what I did plus I found a couple more pics from a couple years back that filled in the blanks. All installed now. Yay. Now we just need the nice bezels! But at least the truck has eyes again!

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
A decent hardware store with parts bins (used to be Sharon Fasteners around here) should have the clips. I think they are called J clips.

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
Ha. Kinda go sidelined until we get our engine power management lined out and set the engine in to determine exact placement of compressor. It'll be sitting in there next weekend though. Patience, Grasshopper!
