The hood hinges are a 55-56 ems hood hinge.The way they mount and swing allows the hood to open all the way.With the gas shock on there opens up super nice.With the hood hinge fully closed there is 1/4 of inch of room to the face of the firewall.You will need to wait till we are done with the detail on them.Will look better

Bead roller we have is Lazze bead roller

Thanks for the explanation. How do you put the bend in it after the bead roll is done on the flat piece? By hand or english wheel?

On getting the shape on the inner fender well we made.We use a English wheel and a Proline Hammer and a Craft former

???? What are you doing for hiding wires to the back? I'm thinking of going through the frame on the 57, possible, or is the rails closed ?

If you are referring to the coil-packs for the L-S motor.We will have the coil-packs in the engine bay area but not on the motor!!!!!!!

For the wiring to the back as in Tail lights and rear license plate light and bed cover.They will be routed under the bed flloor thru some tubing

Have to say wait till you see it in person and on this site.The pics on the body are over the top and the fit and finish is PERFECT

Incredible build...In a giveaway build I would expect some short cuts being taken. Reading this entire thread, I sure can't see any! Looks more like a personal build. Looking forward to seeing it in person this summer.

Here's a few updates:

Frame made its way back from powder coat last week. We got the exhaust finished and had it coated at Jet-Hot. Turned out great and the coating really makes the clamps stand out. We got the motor and drive shaft installed and pretty much anything else that we could before sticking the cab on it.
Palmers Custom's finished up the cab in record time and it turned out *****in. It's hard to get a true picture of the color, but the blue on this cab is awesome.

Here at Goodguys we are very excited to see this truck in person at the Debut in Columbus on July 12th. To make this event huge for Scotts Hot Rods, Palmers Customs and Ron Mangus we are not going to show any more up dates.

We hope that you can join us for the unveiling of the Goodguy G-10 at Columbus OH.

If not we will post more pictures when it is finished.
