The work you have done Josh is amazing, you have some metal skills there, would love to see that in person one day, even though i am 20 hours or more away, great work and keep it up.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Well we finally moved into our new shop and man i am excited. We rented a 60x41 shop. The cool thing is that it has a second floor above half of the shop so we have a total of 3500 sqft of usuable floor space. I have a few more things to bring over before i move my truck but I was pretty excited about the move that i had to share it. Pics will probably come around the first of the new year. Anyways Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!
Josh

Re: Finally my own build thread!
I've been going thru your build, just incredable! Some pages ago, you talked about a radio antennae mounted to the windshield. Take a look at www.quikwire.com, they sell an antennae that plugs into the back of a radio and is a tiny black box with a foot of loose wire dangling from it. It is hidden under the dash. My buddy bought one and put it on his '57 pickup, works for both am and fm, simple and inexpensive. I think it ran about $15.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Looks great. you sure put a lot of time into designing that frame! I bet people would pay good money to buy frames like that pre-made

Re: Finally my own build thread!
She has been ignored during the move. Good news is that we are almost done. We still have to move more ladders, vertical mill, and more storage bens but it is a shop again!!!! Hopefully this week my truck will be able to make it down to the shop. I took some pics of the new shop. It is still a mess and we are slowly painting our tools our company colors so it might be a month or two before we are 100%. Anyways here are some pics

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Last one. I know i got a little camera happy but i am stoked to have room to use my tools. For the last 2+ years i had no room to use any of my wood working tools which is a huge passion of mine.

Re: Finally my own build thread!
Well i finally got something done on my truck. I was hoping to move the truck to the shop but because of the weather i couldn't do it. So i built some alluminum valve covers for the truck. I am pretty happy with the overall turnout. I do wish that i had a little more steady of a hand because those long straights were a litte tough to get a consistant looking weld. I had a lot of fun building them. I still have to build the splash gaurds for the PCV and weld on the bungs for the PCV. I read that alot of people use an-10 for the pcv but was curious if it would be bad to us an-8 instead. I am going to buy a 1/2" tubing bender for all my fuel lines and would be nice not have to buy a 5/8 just for the PCV. Anyways here are some pics
