 . I was showing my dad this build thread the other day, he hasn't seen my truck yet, and he asked me if I wanted to restore his old 41 Willys jeep that has been sitting behind his house for 20 years. It's not in horrible shape...but that would be fun too. Posted via Mobile Device

I'll just keep them blue. I've thought about it a few times and wish I would have gone with a lite gray or charcoal color. I don't think it looks so bad that I need to change it.

nah it should be fine. if it bothers you down the road when the truck is complete you could recoat them

A little update for you guys... I am still trying to work on the breaks and the maps for the EFI. To be able to work on the timing and mess with the motor I have to make it quieter. I am in a nice neighborhood and these people around here really like their peice and quiet....so I have the truck on a trailer right now. I am taking her to get exhaust in the morning. Hopefully that will help me be able to work on my motor without ticking off the neighbors.

so I had to trailor my truck to the muffler shop and have them install the exhaust. here are some pics of the awesome job they did.

and for the past week I have busted my booty getting the motor complete and the front end back together. today I actually fired her up and drop around the neighborhood a little bit...made a few tweeks and then drove her to the gas station a mile away. this was a big day for me!!!!

Congrats on getting to drive this bad boy! I bet those Borla's sound good too. My buddy had similar on his pony car and they sounded good. They are top quality. Looks like the muffler shop did a real good job too.

Thanks guys.... The Borlas sound really good... I am pleased with them. I still need to work on my timing, when thats set I am sure they will sound tons better.
