Re: Project "Jezebel"
Truck looks outstanding!! I wouldn't know what to do with all that shiny sheet metal to keep clean! I am curious to see how the stereo/gps looks in the dash when it's all assembled.
*edit: I just read through the entire thread and I must say you have done some amazing work! I hadn't noticed the start date before, you definitely get a for perseverance. Know I am really look forward to seeing the finished product. I'll be watching

Re: Project "Jezebel"
Looks great!!!
And I'm pretty sure iPhone and iPad only allow 1 pic per upload on forums...where android lets me do 4 or 5. If you upload somewhere like photobucket you can put at least 6-7 if not more per post

Re: Project "Jezebel"
Took Jezebel out for a ride and did some shopping. Bought her new exhaust (Magnaflows) and an alignment. It was a good feeling driving her even though it was a very short trip (on and off the trailer) but hey, it was a drive all the same right?
Love the sound of the Magnaflow's but they are little loud. I may be getting old lol. Installed the tailgate. It was a bit of an undertaking that took me by surprise. I assumed it was just a tailgate and it wouldn't be a big deal... Alignment was a pain. I had to do some clearance work on the brackets and a few bolt holes but a couple hours and few beers later and it was cinched down working well. Oh, I want to put a plug in for Travis at Pro Performance and Dakota Digital. What a standup guy who really knows what customer service is all about. I told him about the issue with my Dakota Digital AC controller being red vice blue, he contacted Dakota Digital and they are taking care of the issue and sending a replacement. Thanks Dakota Digital and Pro Performance! It shouldn't be too long now. Some of the tasks left on the list are to buff the paint, install the trim, door glass, interior, build a speaker box and kick panels, install radio, charge the AC as well as a few other odds and ends. It seems as I mark something off the list I find two things to add. I'm down to two pages though Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device

Been making some small progress. Buffing is complete. Some of the exterior trim has been installed. I also didn't like the height of the rear suspension. It was a bit too much of a rake for me. I ordered 5" drop springs the ride height is much better now. I now have about 1 1/2" clearance between the rear and the bump stop. I assume that's enough as long as I don't try to carry a load in the bed. My plans are to carry just a cooler and some chairs. Here are a couple pics of where I am now. Down to one sheet on my punch list!

Re: Project "Jezebel"
The whole truck really just is flawless and knowing how much rust you had to deal with and how much metal fabrication you did makes me appreciate your truck even more.

Wow, awesome! I really like the wheels and the color looks great. I had a matchbox truck with wheels like that, looking good.
