Very nice work on the paint Daniel! you seem very determined to get this puppy back on the road. Looking forward to checking it out in person soon. Keep the pictures coming.

Re: Project "Captain Insano"
Wow Daniel your paint looks really really good. I can't wait to see the finished product. Are you planning on running the side trim as well or just sticking to the side emblems and hood letters.

Re: Project "Captain Insano"
Thanks, everyone! I still haven't figured out how to reply to everyone in one post.
I'm only running side emblems & hood letters. I sure love the 67 & 72 trim but not yet. Maybe an upgrade later on.

Re: Project "Captain Insano"
Thanks, knomadd
I've been working non stop for the past 3 months. 4:30-9 pm every weekday, and 7 am-10 pm on the weekends. I've been color sanding and polishing this week. It's turning out real nice but I have to fix a few spots on the edges of one door where I burned through. I have to make myself slow down and be patient. I just need to do a little body work on the tailgate, wheel tubs, and cowl and get those painted. Thanks again Mike for the tubs hook up! I really appreciate it. I'll get some photos up over the weekend. 3 day weekend!!! I sure need it.

Re: Project "Captain Insano"
I can already see i'll have issues with the hood hinges hitting the tires with the bags aired out and the hood shut. I'm not sure on what I'm going to do. I would rather not get the aftermarket ones where you cut into the firewall, but I may not have a choice. Need to do some searching to see what options are out there.
