Re: 67 long box
Had a good day today, helped a buddy out with an electrical fan relay problem, then turned into a plumber to replace a tap at my wife's hair salon, then on to the truck and rebuilt the carb. Tomorrow will be the test drive with carb set up and the new distributor, crossing my fingers and taking my cell phone.

Re: 67 long box
I just received a cluster headache sticker from a buddy who has the same headaches. It's on the side of the Farmtruck on 405 outlaws TV show and now on the back of mine. The new neurostimulator implant I will have installed is for these clusters.

Re: 67 long box
I have suffered from cluster headaches since I was a child too so I can sympathize with you. No one really understands how bad they are since normal headaches don't even compare. I wish you the best and hope that the transplant works for you. Awesome truck by the way.

Re: 67 long box
Just hit 1000 miles on it since July 1st weekend this year and I'm lovin it. Not having to worry about a 10,000 dollar paint job getting scratched or chipped is the best. Almost time to pull it into hibernation for a six months and start the next faze of build.

Re: 67 long box
Next phase is engine tranny out, more horses, looking for a 5 speed. Put in the power windows, wire the doors for that and the power locks, A/C pulleys and charged. I'm going to lift it back up an inch for the roads here. Paint the shop logo on the doors, put in the Bluetooth stereo and power inverter and make a cup holder. Power steering and get a front sway bar then put the rear sway back in. New stainless exhaust and and and it will never stop. All this was in the build by the truck would not have been on the road till next year.

Re: 67 long box
I got the call for surgery this time next week I'll have new neurostimulator in and on my way to happier days with less cluster headaches per day. Maybe even participate in some outings. I was out more last month with the test trail than I had been all summer. Wife says this will be great as I won't need to spend as much time in the shop. You'll be feeling better to go out she says. I said now I can spend more time in the shop because I feel better. Better days are coming after 10 years of this.

Re: 67 long box
Thanks it has been a battle and I'm ready for the next part of the build. It's all the details I need to get at. First I have to get the snow blower and snowmobile ready for snow, finish my kitchen floor, put floor trim in the wife's hair studio and two new wash sinks, clean the yard. So I should be back on the truck next year.

Re: 67 long box
Well the dollies are only as good as the pic. I put the truck on them and couldn't move it. I could get the back end to move but with my feet against the wall pushing. POS they are and going back to princess auto. I should have known.
