The push rod came with the booster. We did have to drill some different holes in the brake pedal arm to allow the booster rod to line up properly with the arm. It's pretty straight forward though once you get the rod through the firewall. Let me know if you need any help as you get to that step. And thanks for the awesome compliments! We sure like it!

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
Congrats Eric...the truck looks beautiful...maybe someday I will get there. Any issues with mounting the booster flush to the firewall and what about just running one line to the front brakes of the ppv?
Again GREAT TRUCK! Eric |

Truck looks sick man! I love that color! Where did you get your bed cover, I've been thinking about trying to find one that fits inside the rails, just haven't looked yet.

Re: Project Where'd The Money Go
Thanks, Eric! Booster mount wasn't bad. Had to cut a little out of firewall to make it fit right, but there is lots of info on the board for that. Also had to redrill the brake pedal arm to properly align the rod, but again not very difficult. I'm not sure what you mean about the one line out of prop valve as I'm only aware of one line coming out of them for front brakes and one for back brakes. In other words, I probably just misunderstood your question. I can tell you we ran stock line sizes to front and back. They are stainless steel lines.

Price is very reasonable and I had no issues getting the cover from them. It does require complete assembly. Took me a few hours. Wasn't too difficult.

Our pedal is definitely softer than it was before, but I'm also running a dual diaphragm booster now and wasn't before. It still stops on a dime. Also, when redrilling in the brake pedal arm, the geometry is changed slightly which effects the pedal feel and travel before the booster engages the master cylinder piston. This also effects the overall feel and pedal travel. I've seen where others have made custom brackets for the pedal arm to utilize stock hole, but we wanted to keep it as simple as possible (and we can't weld).

Beautiful truck! The only thing I would change is the wheels, not my style. Nice truck none-the-less.
