Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I thought all reputable classified finds were welcome here, no need to cut it up into multiple threads or complicate the title unless admin is having trouble with disputes or something..

I appreciate the full spectrum sharing, found some good deals that way.. lot easier to monitor one thread for 'finds' whatever flavor they are.. as far as scam avoidance, common sense and buying technic applies to all venues..

craigslist
kijiji [mostly canadian listings]
ebay
bringatrailer
etc.

and it seems most folks own up to their personal listings, the longhorn I recently bought from a member was posted by someone else but the member rogered up right away and we closed the deal..

good luck everyone!

Probably for real. The pedal pads aren't that worn. And do I spy a pristine, uncracked stock steering wheel!? It being a camper, it probably didn't get driven much. My FiL drove the one we have now all over the place, though.

The spid for this truck is pretty nice. Could be a good one.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I called on that black truck and got some more pictures. It looks like the inner rockers are rusted through and I’m not sure what they did on the bed wheel wells. It’s a cool truck for sure.

I think I see a crack below each spoke... just like my original (below).

Looks like there could be some damage on the right front of hood and outer grille too.

Yes there is damage up front. And the pedal pads a very worn, like it’s maybe 159k miles? I sure like it, but dang I think it’s way over priced?

well Joe, if we only knew someone that's seen enough of these trucks to tell what it's worth.....

good detective work folks, came off a little stronger on the intro but y'all put the clues together that there may be more to it than meets the eye..

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

thread bump for some nice picks ^^^

that red 70 would look great in my driveway, but I don't see a place to put a mailbox on it..

thankfully the longhorn I'm buying is going straight to the farm for my mom, 8.5' is still too small for an apartment

Go ahead and put in your driveway. I'll bet your lovely wife could tell you where to put it.

Really appreciate the links everyone is posting - for those of us with caveman internet speeds, it's really helpful to put a couple word description with the link.
