Mats, Welcome from Seattle, WA. My dream truck is a '68 50th Anniversary Longhorn 4x4. I will sell my short wheelbase truck to get one. Andy (RIP) claims that there wasn't a 4x4 option for the Longhorn so maybe I will just have to build one...LOL!

re: Build Sheet
Thanks toms68cst. That makes alot of sense to me. Maybe this is where the confusion about the big window/small window 68 models comes from.
Thanks again. Bob

Thank you all for replaying on this thread, I feel really welcome here.
I hope the truck is in pretty great shape, Iīm going to Denmark tomorrow to find out. The seller have told me there is some rust at the bottom of the doors and on the inside of the roof above the drivers door. Mats.. |

Back from Denmark, w/o a truck.
The truck was not what I expected. It had a lot of rust, doors, roof inside, firewall, crossmembers under the bed and some more places had rustholes in the metal. It was probably pretty recently repainted right over rustdamages and in some places over very poorly made plastic repairs. Every molding was damaged, all the rubber and plastic parts was cracked or broken or missing. The engine was not matching# and it didnīt sound well (knockings). Theese trucks are not plentiful over here but I will keep searching and hopefully find a nicer exampel some day, maybe have to go to US to find it. Mats Karlson Sweden |
