Isocyanates are the big nasty in modern paints. I can't believe the lack of breathing air, too. We are sooo bullet-proof when we are young, aren't we. Now I seem to be wearing a mask for everything. Michael

white finished, untaped. small problem with stripe, so we'll hold off on the airbrushing and clear till tomorrow. the silver will be airbrushed like chrome and there will be a chevy "V" with flags on the front of the hood.

That truck is looking good!
Who needs a stinking mask anyhow? I've handeled av-fuel and used to clean-up JP-5 (military jet fuel) spills without any ppe. Worked in mech and paint shops for 10 years and smoked camels for 18 years... and my lung feels great when I'm not coughing... oh yeah, I'm getting breast cancer removed on the 16th too. I was invincible one day too |

Your right, I should be wearing my respirator.
But the way I figure it, if I smoke the entire time that I paint.....Shouldn't the filter on my smoke catch all of the isocynates??? |

Behind the cab has been jambed out in all white. When I get everything back together and find some more time, I plan to continue the paint scheme behind the bed. But as it is now, the gap between the bed and cab is so small, that you can't see behind it anyway.
