Bad turbo.. I better pass on the 66 nova.. I think that 66 and 67 nova's are great.. (even though I have a 427 that would be perfect in it) just dont need another project... Thats kinda the reason the motorhome needs to find a new home... Its not quite ready for camping yet and I have my Suburban 4X4 and 34 Stude project that are waiting in line... and possibly looking at moving in the next few months... too many things to do and not enough time in the day...
Hmmmmmmmmmm..... Throw in a "slightly used wife"?... I dont think my girlfriend would appreciate that... Does she work on cars/bikes/boats?? .. Just kidding!! I should pass on the "2 small spoiled children" too since they part of the "wife" option.... I would like to thank all of you for the comments... PM's and emails... I have been offered some cool things in trade... But trading for projects at this time is tough for me... although if a certain Stude came up I might really consider that. What I really need is either some $.. or a nice car trailer.. or some equipment that I need (listed in an earlier post) ... Maybe a 67 - 72 truck thats not a project... Or for something in the "wish list"...a "Raptor" Quad.. Sand Rail... Chrysler LHS/Sebring... |

Fellow about a mile from here has one like her, and he wouldn't part with it.

is this motorhome still for sale? What kind of car trailer would you trade for? Going to check out another motorhome a few miles from me tomorrow. Found a local here in town that has quite a collection of these old chevys, apparently.

Bad Turbo.. Yes the motorhome is still for sale.. I am looking for an "open" tandem axle car trailer.. 17 - 19 feet long with a winch on the front.. Ideally a "Featherlite" all aluminum tilt bed... but will consider all...

qksilver Thanks for asking... Its not for sale now... Over the weekend my girlfriend decided she would rather have the Suburban over her 98 Toyota Tacoma 4X4.. So I gladly gave it to her.. We are in the process of pulling the engine and trans in order to redo the trans and paint the firewall..

I hope thats some fancy car trailer like a "Featherlite" ($4500new) aluminum or similiar.. Reason I mention it is I can buy new steel one up here for around $1800 and if I remember correctly you wanted way more than that for your Nova?...
Hmmmmmmm... delivery?.. I am afraid I wouldn't be able to do that.... I would have difficulty finding time off... |

I appreciate the WD40 offer, but I'm way past that. We find that hi-temp grease works well.

Sorry, but I couldn't let this one die. I am seriously considering trying to make a deal to buy this and how to get it home. I just did a mapquest search and it is just over 2200 miles from you to me. Holly crap, thats a long way.
here is my mistake. I showed the Wife and little boy this thing last night and they went nuts for it. They are ready to sell the farm to get this thing here. Let me work on some things behind the scenes and I will get back with you. "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". Twisting knobs, pulling levers, smoke screens, lights and whistles. Would you feel fairly confident that this could be driven all the way to Dallas Area?
