Don, Welcome to the board. I live in KY now, but graduated from highschool in Brookings as well. I would ask lots of questions about the truck on ebay before purchase. The first one would be why is it a c10 if its 4wd? Others will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm nearly certain that should be a k-10. Just be aware that that could be someone's thrown together conversion from 2wd to 4wd. That would hurt the value A LOT in my book.

that's gm's finest engineering, trucks had the C-10 (20) badging on both 4X4 and 2wd, the K was only on the blazers, both 2wd and 4X4.

but most vin. numbers have a ck then the number for 4x4, for 2wd its just a c. if that makes sense.

This one is a bit more than you wanted to spend, but there are no bids so maybe you could make an offer. It may be a little bit further than you wanted to travel though.

Nice pickup
I emailed him. We will see what happen if he dont sell it. I could meet him halfway in Lincoln, Ne. All we can do is wait and see now. Looks like a nice truck.

Donelan07, I sent you a PM about a 69 SWB in Lincoln. Did you get it? Email me if interested. It is not mine but it is still for sale I think. Runs in my mind it was around $2500.

I wonder what condition the frame / engine / drivetrain is in. I could care less about the body. I need an old "beater" truck. Something that when I'm getting on the highway, people move out of my way. Something that I wouldn't be worried if I got it all scratched up going down through some trees or something. Todd
