IIRC, Mothertruckers said that 2wd TH400 trucks came with high humps uncut since they were autos. The larger auto trans needed clearance only. His point: Such uncut, high-hump covers make conversions easier since they let you decide where to cut the shifter holes. No need to weld up the old holes, all or partially.
