My '72 has the holes for the dash speaker, but no speaker. It probably came out when they installed the killer AM/8-track and plastic speakers with only 1 wire going to each.

Here is half of mine in its current state. No top, no doors, no tailgate, no bumpers, and if you could see the front you'd see no fenders, no grill, and no hood. It is in progress.
