My wife likes my black/white 72 LWB better then my 71 SWB 4x4!
The 72 drives like a Cadillac compared to the 4x4. I keep telling her that's the price you have to pay for beauty (rough ride). She has decided that she might as well like them 'cus they ain't going nowhere.

My wife would love mine if I had a hitch on it but since I won't let her tow the horse trailer she says its a waste of a truck....I told her to get her own to tow the trailer or hook it up to the covette... so she has a hitch on the vette...lol

Generally my wife likes my truck. She gets a little huffy when I talk about spending $$$ on it or when time on this board cuts into our love life. -Hmm time to go now! It's almost 11:00.

Mine understands the need for it, but doesn't understand why I want to work on it. She actually rode in it to the dump last weekend, and said it wasn't too bad, but need to be able to roll down the windows, or get the a/c fixed. Didn't really appreciate the gravel that came up through the rust holes in the floorboard either.... Now, she absolutely hates the '70 and doesn't understand why I wanted another one. She doesn't know about the '72 that I might be picking up this weekend....

My wife quite likes my truck. The truck was origonally bought for our daughter when she turned 17, but she lost interest when she went away to college. The wife resents the time that I spend in my shop or that is a grievance that arises in arguments. I do Willys jeeps too. We are spending this weekend at the Willys swap meet in Toledo. Anybody else from here going ? Be interesting to see how she reacts to two days of geriatric machinery. Did I say that we've been happily married for 26 years ?

Gotta be honest here. Of the 10 vehicles in the yard the only three chevys are my girlfreinds. The 70 chevy truck, 79 nova (with 60000 miles, from Arkansas), and her 88 short bed stepside.

HA! My wife still thinks this whole "restore a truck" thing will blow over. She just about fell over the other day when I told her this was a life-long hoby.

i bought my 71 in 96 my wife like the truck ,and she liked driving too. so last year when i bought a 69 short bed for a project she jumped right in. she helped me pull 2 beds off take them apart and build a good one,. then we did complete restro on interior. she also helped me take out front & back windows and put in new chrome& rubbers. she's really my biggest fan when it comes to my trucks, and i can count on her to help or encourageme any time thank you god!

My wife loves it and wants to drive it all the time. I keep working on it so I can drive it. It's in prime and she asks me about once a week when I'm going to paint it. If I do I'll never get it back.

damn yal shouldntve got me started,
had this girlfriend a coiple years ago, when i bought my truck she thought it was the ugliest thing ever, never wanted to ride in it, etc, etc, i shouldve ended it then, will from now on i will, but anyway, we broke up eight months latr and her dad bought her a 98 crapsag with a v6, she called me and told me and then said that her car was faster than mine and that i was being a dick to her because i was jeleous of her car, so meand my bro were gonna race her in his 93 sonoma with 4.3 but he sold it, i had the opputunity to buy a bb so i did, i called her on day and *****ed her outand i havent talked o her since , her dad loved t though, the day i finish it i am gonna go burn a set of tires down in her driveway, i would race that ***** in my 71 with a 350 from firebird but it woud prob blow up, maybe thats why i hate stangs so much
