Okay, some of you know I am changing from headers to ramhorns. I decided to order the dual exhaust system from LMC that SOLVER installed. It is actually made by HeartThrob Exhaust with mandrel bends. I called HeartThrob directly. They suggested I actually purchase it from LMC because LMC buys them in quantity and get a better price.

The only thing I am worried about is the 4" drop springs i have in the rear. Keep your fingers crossed.

Here is mine.
Once my headers and mufflers blow through ]
I 'm going with bored manifolds, tube mufflers,
and going to dump infront of the rear end like
the sweet pic above. Have 2.5" now but will go with 3" next
Shorter and bigger without the headers

67chevemall, what size tires do you have on that thing? Those are WIDE. Do you put snow chains on them up there in Niagara? My wife and I went our honeymoon up there in Apr 04. We left Atlanta in shorts at about 80 degrees. On the plane, I read the USA today and found out we would be landing in snow and 27 degrees at Buffalo...holy crap..it was cold up there...lol

The exhaust dumped out the corners with just bare pipe showing. I looked everywhere for a set of tips that nobody else had. I knew I wanted short, rolled lip tips, but all I could find were like 18 inches long. One day, I was looking around at a speed shop that keeps alot of Megs tips in stock. I dug around to the fourth shelf and found one. I about wet myself when I pulled it out of the box. It was exactly what I was looking for. I dug around and found another one and bought em immediately. I stopped at a muffler shop on my way home and got some hangers, went home, cut about four inches back and clamped em on for the time being. I later cut some more pipe off and had a shop weld them on.

I love the way they look. I just can't wait to run new exhaust with an x-pipe and flows to get the rumble I'm after.

That LMC system sure looks like it hangs lower than it needs to.Let us know how it goes.
