Re: What is your favorite year
I' m a little partial to '71s cause I have 3 of them. A long bed 3/4 ton 4x4, short bed 1/2 ton 4x4, and a long bed 2 wheel drive "SS 396" 4-speed with a 12 bolt posi project truck. I've also been working on my wifes cousin for a couple years trying to get his '40 F*rd Truck that has been in his barn for close to twenty years. That would have to be my favorite body style in trucks or coupes.

Re: What is your favorite year
My favorite has to be a 68 LWB, red w/white top, white grill, factory hubcaps, white walls, side chrome and soft ray tinted glass...and put in an old stovebolt w/a 3 speed on the column while you're at it. Gotta have PS and PB, though.
I'm not that fond of any of the shortbed trucks...they look out of proportion, and the ride is choppy.

Re: What is your favorite year
You know your favorite will be the one you have but I can like any year truck as long as its done right. I have an 84 & a 69 & like different things about both of them. I have always wanted a small window 67 short box though...

Re: What is your favorite year
I'd have to say that the 67 CHEVY and GMC STEPSIDE because of the lack of side markers the grill and hoods and the small rear window.

Re: What is your favorite year
67' 4x4's.If I had the $$$$ I'd buy more and rebuild a couple with different options.I looked for years to find a 67' and passed up many 68-72's.Second pick would be 68'.I wanted a 3/4ton but had to settle for what I could find. Two years later my little brother bought his 67' K20.

Re: What is your favorite year
hum.... lets see
a 71 with a 67-68 hood, with a 64-66 chevy dashboard, and a 67 LWB in short: project cold-fire also known as project mass confusion =) realisticly though a 67 short bed and a 72 short bed are the two that i would think are the most popular however i'm not much of a purist. |

Re: What is your favorite year
67 swb fleet.
I'm currently driving and working on a 67 swb step. It has parts from 67 to 87. I get a wide supply of parts and have fun modifying the truck for safty and performance. |
