Crosby, I can assist with most of the stuff. There's also a few members here in NH these days.

Re: is anything fixable? 72 K20 project nearby
I think that`s an original truck. The extra metal looks like it is to take the place of the cab supports. The Eaton rears are awesome and rarely needs parts. They are available,I just rebuilt one drum to drum. The 14-bolt would be later. The Dana60 is what the other axle choice was at that time. The front axle should be open knuckle/disc.Somebody should get that truck for $250.Is the frame solid?Sounds like a great body-swap candidate.

Re: is anything fixable? 72 K20 project nearby
Hi Guys. Yes, after checking it out at lunch that day, it would seem to be original. The frame wasn't bad, but the cab and how it mounted to the frame were horrible. I would part it out, but cash is a little tight with Christmas coming, and I am not sure I could get my money back. Shipping would probably prevent selling the rear springs, or axle. All I can see is the hubs, maybe a few little parts here and there. If anybody wants the phone number, let me know. Thanks!

Crosby
I looked at that truck a few months back and also passed on it, by the way your old 70 is stripped down to a rolling frame now. Gary

Hey guys, I just got rid of a rot box K20 chassis. I hardly need another before the snow flies!

It's going slow, still in the tear-down mode and parts collecting. Hopefully I'll start putting things together soon. Did you get your house built and move in ????

Re: is anything fixable? 72 K20 project nearby
Hi Gary. Yes, we've moved in, been there almost a year, but now we're having water problems. It seems water is getting into the walls somehow and rotting the wood, and there is some mold now as well. They have been trying to figure out what the problem is, with not much luck so far. Post some pictures of your truck!! Take care.

Make sure the contractor gets that leak fixed & any damage caused by the leak before it gets out of hand or he washes his hands of the problem and you are left with it.
No recent pic's of the truck, but I am planning on taking some as I start to put things back together.
