Re: Score - 72 2wd Cst Blazer
Nice start.
Only $100 less than mine, but overall might need less work (of course it's not 4x4 either). Heck who am I kidding, I know I have over double into mine already with no signs of stopping, but I'm just paying my entry fees now...

Re: Score - 72 2wd Cst Blazer
Luv, dud you use my magic tail light harness too? Pretty kick ass huh?
That tow bar cost me 100 bucks and I dragged the GMC from tx to ohio, then the longhorn from eastern PA to here (central Ohio) tragged the old longhorn to the junk yard...a ranger to the junk yard, a s-10 Blazer to the junk yard...an S-10 truck from Indy to here.... best 100 bucks I ever spent. Then Cheve towed the GMC from here to there, and your trip..and whatever else he's used it for.... Sweet deal on the blazer...and 2 wheel drive to boot. sweeeeeeeeeet |

Re: Score - 72 2wd Cst Blazer
Great score LUV. I'd hate to be in your shoes, how the heck are you going to decide which one to work on and play with? Maybe a schedule, like, Mon., Wed., Friday work/play on GQ. Tues., Thurs., Sat., work/play with the 2wd. But what about Sunday, relax, sit back with a brewsky and enjoy!!!!!!!

There's getting to be too many of these in the West KY/Tenn area... J/K!
Looks like a great start, I have a feeling these 2wd's are gonna start climbing in $ in the future... Good luck, Rg

I already have one pretty cherry OE looking ride, except the lift kit, so this will be my plans as of now, and will be 2-3 years depending on the funds allocations, sales of stuff I don't keep, and extra money I earn 1972 CST 2WD ROADSTER Topless - Remove single wall top & restore it for "GQ" Min 4/6 drop, would like to bag it, but no frame mods 18 x 8's up front, and then 20 x 10's out back, I think Keep the posi rear and maybe modify the ratio (4:10) Two front seats & console only, no rear seats, sorry Possible custom fiberglass flush toneu? cover for it Pearl white, w/ Black trim (Exact opposite of "GQ") No bumpers, I may change my mind later on the frt. Possible 396 swap (Maybe someday down the road) If no BB swap then a 144 Blower on a small block 350 Possible 1968 nose conversion w/ a new cowl hood That's all I can think of off the top of my head

Re: Score - 72 2wd Cst Blazer
awsome luv, not only is that $1200 less to spend on gettin your black beast on the road (Even though i thought the reason the 4x4 wasnt on the road was 'cuz 'a lack of $$$$ ) , but now you have two blazers that arent!! Nice bucket!
They'll make some real nice driveway gems, do you plan on getting a bubble for them when they're done too?? but on a serious note, :cogratulations: Last edited by Medicanman71; 11-17-2005 at 08:10 PM. |
