Re: New Addition
I'm on my second black '69. Looks good. Looks a lot like the one I sold that went to Fort Worth, four years ago. Good score!

Re: New Addition
Looks like the dash center is hacked out. I have a few spare center sections if you want one. I will even install it if you drive that thing to Jackson and take me for a spin!!!!

Re: New Addition
I hope I can squeeze in PF (or alternative place) this year. Work and kids is going to make it VERY tight time wise.

Re: New Addition
I like it and i want to build my own mildly lowered short fleet now just because i got to drive that one for a little while the bug has bit me for a shortbed but i have to put together my longbed first. That truck does drive pretty good, it does have its flaws but if it didnt wouldnt be a truck in my opinion but it really wont take much to make it a nice very dependable daily driver then Bill can sell that Stinkin dodge

Bill, I'd say the engine is strong! Check out the tires! (unless Jeremy replaced them) It did some amazing burnouts with my 18' car hauler behind it!! And the throatie exhaust made it sound that much more impressive! The engine may not be much to look at, but it seemed solid. My plans were to use it as, dare I say it, an actual truck. My two other trucks were not functional since the 71 has a nice wood bed and the other has a bed cover. Don't feel bad, my wife was harping on that "too many trucks" thing too! That's why she's my angel... Always up in the air and harping on something!!

Depending on what happens with the 70, I may keep and finish the cab on the 70, then do a swap some day. But I'm trying to keep as many on the original pieces on the 69 that I can. Right now it's fix the tranny and steering line leak. Clean it up, tune it up and drive it. It has a 71/72 cable pedal set up biu it doesn't feel right, so I may be getting your advice on tweaking to get it working smoothly. She is licensed and tagged as mine now. I'm checking on insurance tomorrow and wednesday.
