Re: Stuff left over for my wrecked 72

I'm not too clear on what constitutes a claim for some of the stuff in some of you guys minds. First of all, I got PMs, emails, and posts here about the stuff you've only seen the posts. Some people PMed, emailed, and also posted before I got around to responding. I've gotten people saying they want to see pics, they asked questions, some said they MAY be interested and some that said,"yes I WANT to buy it, how much is freight". To me those are not all the same. I am trying to sell the stuff on a first come, first served basis. I don't know any of these guys so I have no reason to play favorites.

Actually I have been rather confused until today about the water pump. I was sure that when I bought it (about a year ago) the ebay ad said it was a short pump but when I pulled it out the other day the box said "8811 Long Style Water Pump". I never used it because it took too long to buy and get shipped and that was the last thing I needed to get the truck running so I went down and got a steel water pump at O'Reilly while it was in process. I figured I'd change it out later but never did. I shoved it on a shelf and there it sat until now.

The water pump says 8810 on it and I matched it up with a pic of an 8810 so now I'm sure it's a short style. I guess the guy I bought it from used a different box. I'm not really a big Chevy guy (flame suit on) and I didn't want to tell someone the wrong thing. I have sent you a PM with the freight and these details.

Re: Stuff left over for my wrecked 72

If everyone ahead of me passes on the waterpump, I might be interested if I could get out to Katy sometime this week (I'm in Kingwood). My engine's going in this weekend.

Re: Stuff left over for my wrecked 72

rockers are in limbo cause someone told me they sent me paypal for them but nothing has shown up in my paypal account.

This all seemed so simple when first I posted it.

All offers will be considered. I only log on here occassionally so email at jmeredith@consolidated.net might work better.

I may dig up some more stuff, if so I'll post it.

Glad you were happy with it. I was a little nervous with you not getting to see it first. Not everyone has the same opinion of what is good condition.

Re: Stuff left over for my wrecked 72

I didn't see the tailgate, but I figure that you probably burnt $5 dollars in gas bringing it to my buddy and had no problem with that you truly must be trying to help out. They definitly have a few awsome people on this board. If you find a $15 dollar bed let me know.
