comp cams have been great to me! The trick is to break them in with rotella or other diesel oil they have more minerals in them. Newer oils have alot taken out to clean up emissions but its bad on wear parts. Set the lash at 0 + 1/4 turn for brakin then go another 1/4 after the first oil change ,never ever lost one.
