Re: Pics of Progress on my 71 Blazer
Just got back from seeing it again today it looks even better! the red has darkened and is more glossy than when I snapped the pictures not even 5 mins after he sprayed the final coat. We pulled one piece out into the sun light and DAMN it is AWESOME I love it!

Re: Pics of Progress on my 71 Blazer
Getting close cut and buff is now done and reassembly is almost complete hoping to take it to the 1st PIR cruise in this Wedensday. Camera was a little dusty being in the shop so picture quality isn't the best.

Re: Pics of Progress on my 71 Blazer
all the pictures have a "pink" look to them and in person this is not the case it is a very strong red that stands out. I'm hoping to pull it out of the shop today and get some pictures in natural lighting hopefully that makes a difference.

Re: Pics of Progress on my 71 Blazer
A friend of mine picked this up from a different forum basically you cut the T off the tailgate drill and tap it with 8mm X 1.25MM then buy 94 Ford Ranger left and right cables. I'll take some pictures since I don't have permission to share the ones I have of the step for step. Anyone else interested in me posting a FAQ on how to do this mod?

Tailgate cables?
Yeah, do a post of the step by step. When you close the gate do the cables stick out at all, or do they go where their supposed to.
