Re: wow $35,000!
I agree, look at what steel street rods cost. You can put the same amount of work into these trucks. The only difference is a more abundant availability of "steel" to start with.

Re: wow $35,000!
The truck is nice. I agree with most here though, I do not like the graphics or the clear taillights. One thing I noticed is for the kind of money he put in the truck I think he should have spent another $100 and put in new rear cab mounts as the cab lines sit a good inch lower than the bed lines.

Re: wow $35,000!
Nice truck. Now I know how to keep people from asking me how much will I take for the truck. Starting bid $35,000.00.

Re: wow $35,000!
If I owned a Chevy dealership it would make for a good coversation display in it and I would not sweat the 35K price tag. Nice but no bowtie paint scheme for me

Re: wow $35,000!
I'm no paint expert but in my experience clearcoat or paint that thick cracks and shrinks in time. As far as the stickers go, they might match the seats but should have been left on the junkyard donor. Now the price just confirms what all of us devoted hardcore enthusiasts already know. Is that these trucks are the best and we have been right all along. And if one of these rice burners new is worth $30,000. or more, even an american product for that matter then I know that if I add up my receipts and add one doller for every hour I've got into a finished project it would be way up there. I know I'm long winded but before I shut up let me quote what one of our member's said, "It's not what ya buy, it's what ya build."

Re: wow $35,000!
I like the Heartbeat logos but I dont particulary care for all of the bowties.....as for the 13 coats of clear I can vouch that it is shiney I painted an old tonka Jeep (about 6-7 years ago)gold metal flake black and added 13 coats of clear and it was shiney
