What tricks did you use to make sure the panel grooves line up between panels?

3) Traced the outline of all panels including all holes onto the new paneling. I made sure all the top edges were cut on one of the horizontal "milled" lines so they all lined up front to back when installed. I also made the left rear panels one-piece instead of split. So pay attention to the gap between those as originally installed if you plan to do the same. Set that gap when tracing the panels

Those are cut from the 72-only deluxe panels with the matching armrests. I have the deluxe rears too.

I plan on re-doing these in fiberglass with the "swoopy"

parts molded in.

Reviving an old thread. Can I get an update on the wood panels you made? Are you still using them? How did you like them over time and have they lasted?

I am in need of panels and was thinking about custom instead of buying repros. Thought this looked like a possibility.
