Re: Stake pocket FILLER PANELS

The kit will consist of the tube with a drain nipple on the bottom, the power antenna unit, rubber/plastic tubing to run from the antenna tube to an exit point in the floor (to allow water that might collect in the tube to drain), and a reinforcement strip to support the antenna to keep it in place. All you will need to do is select a location, either where the fuel filler was, or on the other side of the cab), make the hole and fit it to the tube, and weld in place.

I am just getting to the point of de-burring and welding up the tubes, and I just got the first batch of antennas in. Should have them ready to go in a couple weeks max. I haven't set a firm price yet, but probably around $65-$75 complete. I will probably also sell the tube without the antenna is someone wants just that.

Just picture this:

Re: Stake pocket FILLER PANELS

Glock, if you decide to make the door hinge shims Draggn66 asked about you have another buyer here. We could actually use several size shims similar to body shim sizes. I have used the body shims to close the gap in my doors, no more travel in hinges, but it does not look good and hard to get in place on some of the bolts.

Re: Stake pocket FILLER PANELS

It might be a possibility here in the very near future. I am in negotiations with my bank working on a small business loan to purchase a CNC plasma table and software, and to upgrade my plasma cutter. The new one is rated at a 1” genuine cut, 1-1⁄4” maximum cut, and 1-1⁄2” severance cut. I will be able to cut just about anything from something drawn on a napkin drawing to a photograph, and of course anything I can create on CAD.

If/when I can get that done, they sky will be the limit!!!

Re: Stake pocket FILLER PANELS

Glock, the rear brake pieces were beautiful, I need the door shim piece if you do them as my driver's door gap is big in the back and none in the front! I'd like a set of the pocket covers, but I am a snail mail kinda guy, if its OK PM me.

Well, I guess it could be possible. The tube would need to be fabricated from thin flat bar to get the shape. It might look a little distorted when it gets set in place on the angle, but I could be wrong. I think thought that it would actually look pretty cool! I'll have to play with the idea in posterboard form to see what it might be like.
