Re: 67 chevy lowrider project RHINO

It is your truck, do what you want...

I have seen a rat rod that was bed lined (over the entire car) and it did not look too bad.

Re: 67 chevy lowrider project RHINO

spend the 1500 to 2000 on air suspension and then it'll be the start of your name for your project...lowrider, rhino sounds like a bad idea for anything but something that stays in the woods or on a mountain for a truck....bad idea

Each to their own but, if you were a child, pet, student or spouse of mine, you'd get the rolled up newspaper treatment.... a little smack on the end of the nose and a resounding "nnno!"

Re: 67 chevy lowrider project RHINO

interesting..if its already rusty,,then yes go for it..but i can tell you from experiance, you will spend alot of money and time to sand it back off...it took me almost a week to get just one door and fender sanded off,,the crap is hard on sand paper..personally on a 4x4,,it rocks,,,if its doen right, you shouldnt be able to tear it off..lol

Re: 67 chevy lowrider project RHINO

My 2 cents. If you have your heart set on it and that's what you want, then by all means have at it. As long as you know what the consequences are if a year later you don't like it. Personally I agree with revn67, if it's gonna cost $1500 - 2500 like some of these guys think, that money would be (to me) better off spent in a nice suspension and wheels..,.......JB

Re: 67 chevy lowrider project RHINO

I apologize for my fellow truckers not using too much tact in telling you it is probably not a good idea. I also have a large network here in my city. I'm sure if you were to cut down on whatever it is you are shooting, smoking or drinking, we could sell the remainder and get you enough money for a real paint job.
