Alvin, How are the summit rotors holding up/performing/looking? I'm thinking about buying some. Do they make any extra noise as jlaird described?

Can't say! Haven't driven it yet . Should have at least some idea in the next two months.

All this little crap takes a lot of time.

Interesting. I just got mine and they have the same anomaly. Oh well, the price is right and I'm sure it won't be noticeable behind the wheels.

I'm sure it won't cause a problem. I spotted it when I pulled 'em out of the box. Both were the same. Looks like they're all that way - so far.

I have owned three different trucks with slotted rotors. I have put many thousands of miles on them. I have never heard any noise that can be attributed to the slots in the rotors.

My guess would be that any noise heard was caused by pads rather than rotors.
