So sorry to hear about the fire. As everyone else has said before, lives can't be replaced, vehicles and houses can be rebuilt or replaced. Our prayers are with you and the family.

Very sorry for your loss LUK if we can help!!

This is a good time for everybody to check and see if the wires going to their receptacle is stabbed in the back and not on the screws. 90% of electrical fires tht start at a receptacle like this one is because the wires are stabbed in the backa nd running the full load of the circuit through each device. The wires are held in place by springs and we all know what springs do when exposed to HEAT, they break down and no longer hold the tension nessecary to keep a good connection. I NVER stab the wires in the bak always on the screws, you are still loading the device with the full current of the circuit, but a MUCH MUCH safer connection. Preferabbly you want to pigtail each device(parrallel) so that the full load goes around the device int he box and oly what you are actually drawing current wise goes through the device. Please take the tame to check them and move the wires to the screws to help prevent this in the future.....Randy

Re: My House Burnt Down With Truck In Garage!

I really appreciate all the support. I live in a college town so tons of people have offered me clothes and money for the necesities. Here's some pictures. Every body panel on the truck is warped from the heat. I had a 700r4 on a pallet that melted. I'll be building a new one when I get a new house. Really makes you appreciate what you've got and how quick it can be taken away. Check your smoke detectors! Trucks can be replaced.
