Wow, the kids are getting big!
I thought the paint on the 67 was pretty good?
That engine bay will look awesome when you're done.

You still have extra parts hanging around your place?
Smallblock PS?
Driver Side Fender?

Re: Time for Updated Pics of the 67

all date codes a match up on everything which is good

also ordered tonight a rebuild kit for the z-bar
and 50' of 1/4" asphalt wire loom that covers the wire that goes to the temp sensor.
i only need like 4 feet. but 50 feet was cheap and i have another truck that needs it.

also finished blasting and painting my jack and tools today

ill be cleaning up nuts and bolts tonight.

Re: Time for Updated Pics of the 67

JC the heater hoses you have are acceptable as replacements but the correct hoses were ribbed hoses without the GM lettering on them. I also believe that ou truck would have used a mix of corbin wire clamps and towers for the hoses. The corbin wires would be on the heater hoses and the tower type would be on the radiator hoses. Your engine is going to look great just trying to help a little.

Re: Time for Updated Pics of the 67

i am under the impression that the ribbed hoses started in 69.

i can not prove it . and i dont have an original example of a 67 engine compartment.

im only going on product listing i have seen.

any proof or evedince of this in a 67 would be appreciated.

i would love to some detailed pics of a untouched 67 engine bay.

thanks john

Re: Time for Updated Pics of the 67

I have a photo somewhere of a 67 GMC that was untouched. The corbin type are the spring type. I had not heard that about the ribbed hoses, I will check and see what I can come up with.
