Re: What do you think of this truck?
It's now sure that I don't buy this truck. I have call the guy and he don't lower the price at 200$! For US truck I don't know if it's complicated to pass custom and I have to pass an expection to put a license on it.

Re: What do you think of this truck?
You should keep looking. That truck has to much rust visable and the rust you don't see is what will break you.

Re: What do you think of this truck?
I'd hope they were going to throw in a trailer and maybe another truck for $1500.
Pass on this truck.

Re: What do you think of this truck?
Id RUN away from that one, seriously if you can do the work, get it for 500-700 if you can't that looks like in the neighborhood of 3-5k of body work, for that you can be $ ahead by buying a better truck. B

Re: What do you think of this truck?
If you are planning to restore the truck then try and by the best body you can find, as it will save you money in the long run.
Rust repair is expensive and had to eliminate. In Canada try searching http://www.canadatrader.com/ Or this truck for sale here on the board for $1500 in VA http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/c...ct=1856&cat=12 KEEP SHOPPING!

Re: What do you think of this truck?
There are deals out there, but they aren't always on the surface all the time.
Keep saving your money... I'll assume you have $1000 right now. In 2 or 3 months, when you've saved up a few more hundred, something will probably pop up. Even if you have to get a small loan and travel, you'll be so much further ahead if you buy something with minimal/no rust. |

Re: What do you think of this truck?
I would save my money and find a nice one from the deserts of the US; also the Board is a great place to find your dream truck with no Rust. Good Luck and a good one will present itself.

Re: What do you think of this truck?
This is the board...., electronic bulletin board.
There is a section on this webpage for selling trucks. Go to the top of this page and click on "trucks for sale" or go to the bottom of the page and use the Forum Jump to select Trucks for Sale under the Classifieds. By the way, welcome to 'the board' from a fellow Canadian and a true northerner (livin north of 60 in the NWT).

Re: What do you think of this truck?
There is a Canada section on here, not very active, but some discussion. A quick check and there is a "Who lives here in Ontario, Canada" post at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=181398 You can probably find somebody there. In the Canada section there is a great post on importing a vehicle from the US. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=237264
There was a really nice yellow shortbox stepside on here out of Quebec as well. You have found one of the best online resources around. I spent this spring getting a 69 GMC back on the road. Great information available. There is a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section that has a wealth of information and I highly suggest reading through it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=157669

Re: What do you think of this truck?
I doubt if that truck could pass any kind of inspection.
Run, don't walk away.
