Re: How much coil to cut? Please help!
I found a way to cut only half. I replaced my control arms with ControlFreaks units and the lower control arm ring has an isolator and does not require the control arm to be properly positioned. I was able to cut it and install it with no problem.

Re: How much coil to cut? Please help!
OK I finally got the ball joint to release from the spindle. I have been beating the heck out of the spindle with my 4lb sledge to no avail. A friend talked me into using his pickle fork and it took less than 5 min. no damage to the boot. Thanks for all the info much appreciated!

Re: How much coil to cut? Please help!
Nothing wrong with cutting more or less than a full coil. I like 1.25 coils for a 3" drop. I never heard of anybody going 2 full rounds though. Stllookn your truck looks great!

Re: How much coil to cut? Please help!
Yeah, that is a great lookn truck.
I got my truck back together last night, cut 1/2 round and combined with the new a-rms it went from 32.5 to 31. A little dissopointed but whatever it will probably settle. I think with spindles it should look great.
