Re: Same work, new place...
Hey guys, been a while. Did a little more work, got the bed wood installed, after failing a few times and knocking the whole bed off causing a little bent sheet metal due to me not putting at least a few bolts through to hold it on, stupid really....Got it together though, had to rewire the rear lights cause when the bed fell the wire was destroyed by the end of the frame. Some pics of the bed, then also painted the bumper a little different, grille is next, got the rest of the "exhaust" on. Had to put a few pieces together with some bandage stuff to actually not leak all over, im sure it will anyway, but o well. The exhaust was pointed right at the axle before, so i put on the old piece to run it out past it and to the side. Also some pics of my helper...

Re: Same work, new place...
That plywood looks kind of like waffer board to me, be sure you get it really painted up good. When waffer board gets wet it is pretty much useless. On another note truck looks good, i like the headlights and the paint job looks like a good one.

Re: Same work, new place...
THe plywood is actually 3/4 inch subflooring with a tongue and groove down the center. I put 2 coats of undercoating on the bottom and sides and then marine varnished the top, so i think it should be alright, at least i hope so. I dont plan on drivin the truck in the rain yet anyway cause i havent found all the leaks throught the firewall and all the tiny ones that can plague a truck, so until i do that its gonna be a garage queen on the rainy days, like today...lol. Thanks...night
