Re: A truck being a truck, let's see em.

special-K,

I had to laugh when I saw your Highlander's rack system. Here is a pic of mine with the same C-clamp mounting system. My grandfather made these racks 20 years ago and my Dad and I have been using them on various trucks over the years. Unfortunately the pic was taken after the load was off for my Dad.

Re: A truck being a truck, let's see em.

Eric67m where did you get those wheels that are on that silver truck i have hunted for years for a set of them and the ones i find in scrap yard are too beat up and the ones i find laying in yards going to waste they don't wanna sell.[/QUOTE]

My wheels are us indy mags. They came with my truck for $650 and are about the only solid piece of metal on the truck. Actually only the sheet metal items are rusted out. At first I was indifferent with them but they are growing on me. Brad was trying to convince me to polish them out but I kind of like them satin and like the low maintance part of them.

Its full of pipes and a water heater...and the old back bumper and the old Camaros seats...well seat. Someone stole one of them last night. I feel bad for them!

I dig seeing the trucks at work, guys! Cool thread! Here is my C2500 in 1980, 1983, and 2006 just workin like it's sposed too.

Most of our cargo seems kinda lame after seeing the "stuff" RogerGodding has in his truck! 'Bout the best looking---pickup---er---box----I mean---truck I ever seen!

Re: A truck being a truck, let's see em.

Here is my ’72 beater truck. We built a new house a few years ago and this old girl has come in real handy with hauling the landscaping materials. I actually bought it for $300 at an estate sale back in 2002.

My truck hates pulling a trailer, but I had 4 desks that weighed a few hundred a piece plus some other heavy junk on there.
