Re: What you got done this wk end?

it's in my build thread, but here's the quick and dirty

finished rebuilding rearend
began installing longer wheel studs on rear axles
powdercoated rear brake caliper brackets, upper control arms, and airbag mounts
installed front suspension (A-arms, ball joints, airbags)
began test fitting rear airbags
installed truck oil pan on 5.3L

I think that's about it

Re: What you got done this wk end?

got quite a few things done

Repainted the glovebox door, silver/black to match the stock guage panel.
Replaced the heater core
Got the blower fan working, PO had brown wire fubared
got the reverse lights working, this was time consuming.
Did a couple of junkyard trips for small stuff you can't find in stores.
Did a driveway alignment, just to get the caster/camber in the ballpark before completely wearing out my front tires
Repacked the front wheel bearings and rebuilt a rear wheel cyl, it was draining my master every couple of weeks.

and had a few beers

Re: What you got done this wk end?

Finished installing my chrome bowtie spark plug wire holders, new AC Delco spark plugs, and high temp fiberglass protector boots. Also, finished installing my Dynomax ceramic coated headers I picked up from "cooters", a fellow board member, a little while ago. Open headers on a SBC V8 sounds FREAKIN SWEET!!!!

Now I'm contemplating buying a pair of twin QTEC electronic exhaust cut-outs.......
