Re: 2.5 ton rockwell axles in a 67-72
What year did they first have the top loader axles? I am looking at a 6x6 and was wondering if it had what I needed.

Re: 2.5 ton rockwell axles in a 67-72
the rockwells are pretty popular. i am always behind the times. i guess it takes me to long to finish a project. i had 3/4 ton when everyone else had 1 ton. when i got 1 ton all my buddies had 2.5 ton. now that i am close on finishing my 2.5 ton truck, my friends are running 5 ton rockwells.
i wanted to list a few of the builders around and a couple of sites that my buddies are on regulary. chuckstrucks.net stroid.com bambambiguns.com perry mud bog old town mud bog lake butler mud bog southfloridabuggyboys.com |

It's easy to forget that your work of art is going to be thrashed in the Florida mud. Show quality but gonna get used - I can dig that!

I would drive your truck everyday. In fact i can picture your truck with a goose neck trailer, pulling mine to the play hole. That would be a pretty site.
