i've had some serious family issues since this post was first started--my brother and i are no longer on speaking terms after his wife stole money from my stepmom's purse while my dad and stepmom were in an ambulance on their way to the hospital. my stepmom is now in a nursing home suffering from alzheimers(sp) and unable to walk anymore. there is much more to the story and i don't have time nor space here to get into all of the other crap that he and the b!tch have done but if my brother and i ever cross paths again someone might end up not walking away. there's nothing worse than disrespecting ones parents and i will never forgive/forget what they have done.

Sorry to hear about all that has been going on with your family. It's hard enough dealing with someone that's in the hospital or nursing home. Then you gotta deal with all that other crap. I wish you patience and strength during these trying times.

thanks for the support. the above is only the tip of the iceburg, it would take hours to tell everything my stepmom's kids have done to her and my dad. it's amazing what money and greed can do to a person--my stepmom owned well over 30 million dollars worth of property--her grandfather purchased the property in the late 1800s and her kids took it away from her then charged her and my dad rent to live there. now that she's in the nursing home they gave my dad a deadline to move out and none of them have even checked on her condition since she went in the hospital and then the nursing home.
when all this is over, i'll be very surprised if i'm not in prison or dead.

Hey Jerry Local Bay area guy here in Livermore. I am sorry to hear about all of the family problems. Seems like you hear about that more and more. I feel the same way you do. Some people only see dollar signs. I dont blame you at all. KARMA, Just believe in Karma. OH sometimes it needs help too. I am not a religious person but I believe that good things happen to good people. Do what you think is right. I am behind you all the way.
