I looked through my PVC valve and hose. Granted it was about two months since I took it apart. There was nothing in either the valve or the hose. My assumption at this point is that somehow there was some build up in the carb. When I used the parts cleaning solution to clean the carb it caused it to "bleach" or turn yellow. If that is the case what could have deposited there? The powder was plugged all the way back until youhit the wall.

Does anyone have a home chemistry set?

I had the trucked shipped out here to PA, but it was in Iowa for six years. Maybe that is a product of ethanol.

That's really weird. Could be fuel line coloring, or stuff out of the filter. Gas is a great solvent so it could be some sort of ink stuff on a cheaply made-in China filter or pump or something....not saying you are into cheap parts but gas just loves cleaning stuff.
